Awa Meite is a Malian artisanal textile, fashion and eco-responsable company.  The cotton she processes is produced in Mali.  The transformation also takes place in Mali, in the capital Bamako. The master weavers of her atelier are trained with the  ancestral and traditional know how which are adapted to contemporary trends. All products follow an eco-responsible approach, in a short circuit, without any addition of synthetic fiber and only pure natural cotton in the weavings. She develops and design fashion and accessories in cotton and recycled leather in limited editions, translated in the outmost modernity in her atelier. 

The brand is in the pursuit to offer for each collection amazing textiles. It is well known for proposing beautiful, original and elaborate hand-woven, hand-dyed fabrics, with local craft and technics.  The designer, Awa  aims to make African artisanship to continue to make a fertile environment for creativity and feed the imaginery.
